INVENTOR OF THE WORLD WIDE WEB WARNS US THAT TECH GIANTS MUST BE REGULATED OR THE INTERNET WILL PLUNGE INTO "WEAPONIZATION" WHICH WILL HARM LIFE AS WE KNOW IT

Inventor of the World Wide Web, British computer scientist Sir Tim Berners-Lee, is speaking out about how the internet is being weaponized against people. He believes that tech giants should be regulated so that free speech can be restored across the internet. Google, Facebook and Twitter control a vast proportion of the information people receive. The groupthink that dominates these organizations drives them to censor dissenting voices on the internet and favor the content that aligns with their goals. They call it hate speech if you disagree.

In 2019, the internet celebrates its thirtieth birthday. What was once an open portal for communication and sharing information, the internet has slowly become a totalitarian hub of thought control. Tech giants now censor certain viewpoints while favoring the content they want people to consume.

Helpful information and contrarian viewpoints are a threat to specific authority figures and industries, and tech giants have the power to police this. For instance, 1700+ videos from the Health Ranger’s YouTube channel were taken down with no justification. These videos teach critical thinking and self-reliance; the content penetrates the fragile philosophies and groupthink that pervades big tech culture. This leftist groupthink is so strong, Google will terminate employees for recognizing the fact there are only two genders and that male and female are inherently different.

Likewise, the Gateway Pundit’s conservative viewpoints have faced censorship from big tech. InfoWar’s in-depth analysis has faced censorship for simply questioning motives and agendas behind the Parkland, Fl shooting.
Strong people like Michelle Malkin have fought back against repeated censorship tactics.

Sir Tim Berners-Lee warns: “The web that many connected to years ago is not what new users will find today.
What was once a rich selection of blogs and websites has been compressed under the powerful weight of a few dominant platforms. This concentration of power creates a new set of gatekeepers, allowing a handful of platforms to control which ideas and opinions are seen and shared.”

Perhaps, Berners-Lee should consult the Social Media Neutrality Panel, which featured censored voices such as Pamela Geller of the Geller Report and Margaret Howell of Rightside Broadcasting. The panel discussed social media bias, shadow banning and various other methods used to silence voices and restrict access to information on the web.

Berners-Lee is now working to make internet free, open, and affordable to more people around the world while advocating for decentralization of thought and information. The web cannot welcome innovation and the free flow of ideas if a handful of tech giants have the power to control which ideas and opinions are shared. How can small, innovative online stores and bloggers get their products and message out if the most powerful players in the industry dominate what people see online?

Berners-Lee warns that these platforms become dominant by “creating barriers for competitors.” With their deep pockets and heavy-handed influence, these platforms may “acquire startup challengers, buy up new innovations and hire the industry’s top talent.” These dominant platforms meticulously collect user data from people, which give them an extreme advantage in the online marketplace.

All the data that is being collected on internet users, including searches, connections, and interests, can be used against them to target market products, news, and information. This predatory breach of privacy and target marketing is motivated by profit and is all about controlling what people read so that any voluntary changes made by the tech giants will not be done for the public good. Any changes will be counterproductive to their financial mission. There must be a new incentive that changes the way platforms operate.

This incentive should stop tech giants from suppressing any competition or dissent. It should not give them more power to police content. For example, Facebook cannot be trusted to weed out “fake news” from being shared on its platform; this only equates to censorship. Regulations that empower the tech giants will only exacerbate the problem. New regulations should hold the tech giants accountable for violating freedom of ideas and freedom of expression, even if they disagree with the content or find your ideas “offensive.”

AMERICAN GOVERNMENT MEMBERS BLAST GOOGLE

David Cicilline, a U.S. Rep. from Rhode Island, blasted Google with a tweet on Thursday that said the search giant shouldn’t be using its vast resources to enable authoritarianism in China.

Included with his tweet, which you can see below, is a copy of a letter that Rep. Cicilline joined a bipartisan group of congressmen in addressing to Google CEO Sundar Pichai. Among other things, it says the lawmakers felt compelled to reach out to Google with a list of questions following the disclosure last month that Google is looking into making a version of its search engine available in China that would block some websites and search terms. “We have a responsibility,” they wrote, “to ensure that American companies are not perpetuating human rights abuses abroad.” Ouch.

In the letter, which includes several questions directed at Google’s chief executive, they ask if the company would “ensure that individual Chinese citizens or foreigners living in China, including Americans, will not be surveilled or targeted through Google applications.” The lawmakers also want to know what words or search terms Google would put controls in place to prevent users in China from being able to surface results for.

As we reported this afternoon, Google has already toyed around with a version of its search engine to pass Chinese muster that included blacklisting search terms like “human rights,” “student protest” and “Nobel Prize.”

GOOGLE'S RADICAL AGENDA

Google recently agreed to forfeit $500 million to avoid prosecution for knowingly accepting illegal advertisements from online Canadian pharmacies. According to the U.S. Department of Justice, Google knew that the pharmacies were promoting illegal importation of drugs, yet it continued to accept the ads and provide customer support to the advertisers.
However, this isn’t an isolated incident. Google has repeatedly been accused of violating privacy laws, facilitating copyright infringement and aiding online piracy. Google consistently demonstrates disregard for the rule of law — a disregard stemming from Google’s radical political beliefs.

GOOGLE'S RADICAL IDEOLOGY CONSISTS OF 5 KEY IDEAS

Information should be free:
Google and its political allies want to turn the Internet into an “information commons.” To that end, they seek to weaken copyright, trademark and patent protections. This “what’s yours is mine” philosophy is used by Google to monetize others’ information and content without paying for it. For example, Google allows its customers to use others’ trademarks as search advertising keywords.

Access to information should be unfettered:
Google aims to replace user privacy and data security with radical transparency and openness. Google Executive Chairman Eric Schmidt wants us to believe that omnipresent surveillance is simply a modern fact of life: “If you’re online all the time, computers are generating a lot of information about you. This is not a Google decision, this is a societal decision.” What Schmidt doesn’t mention is that Google uses its free products and services to track and profile users. That’s why Google has earned the moniker “Big Brother Inc.”

Innovators don’t need permission:
Google believes that if you are developing innovative solutions, you shouldn’t require others’ permission to use their property or violate their privacy. Put another way, innovators provide a service to society and should be exempt from laws that get in their way. For example, Google appointed itself to scan and digitize the world’s books without first obtaining permission from copyright holders.

Everything that’s technically possible is allowable:
Google believes that if something is technically possible, it should be done, because inevitably it will be done. Therefore, the development and use of technology trumps all other values. This idea can be used to justify everything from tracking and profiling users against their wishes to cloning human beings.

Our information-based society should be run by engineers:

Google believes that technology is too sophisticated and complex to be managed by non-experts. Therefore, the Internet should be run by elite engineers (many of whom work at Google). This idea places Google above the laws, rules, norms and standards of accountability that apply to everyone else.

Google’s radical ideology poses a number of dangers. Google is the dominant provider of Internet search service, handling about 80% of Internet searches worldwide. Google has the power to determine what information gets found and what gets lost in the crowd. Google claims that its search engine is “unbiased” but has admitted to using human raters, regularly adjusting its search algorithm and placing its own content at or near the top of search results. If Google manipulated search results in subtle ways for political purposes, would we even know it?

As the world’s biggest data-mining operation, with more than one billion users, Google knows more about influencing people than anyone in history. That may explain why Google’s dominance of search advertising is even more pronounced than its dominance of search. With this knowledge, Google has acquired unprecedented power to sway public opinion — should it choose to do so.

In fact, Google’s leaders have repeatedly said that they are not in business to make money but to “change the world.” As they stated in their 2004 IPO letter, “We aspire to make Google an institution that makes the world a better place.” Eric Schmidt is even more emphatic: “The goal of the company is not to monetize anything … The goal is to change the world — and monetization is a technique to do that.”

As the Internet’s lone superpower (consuming more electricity than Salt Lake City), Google has the wherewithal to influence elections, trade favors with government agencies and meddle in international disputes. Eric Schmidt publicly boasted that Google is on track to develop “truth predictor” software to keep politicians honest. Google’s free Political Campaign Toolkit promises to help candidates win elections. It all sounds non-partisan until you consider the evidence to the contrary. For example, Google removed Republican Senator Susan Collins’s AdWords ads countering television ads by Moveon.org based on a company policy that (as Brit Hume showed) Google only selectively enforces.

Google wants to change the world by destroying privacy, abolishing property rights and putting its engineers in charge of the Internet. With that attitude, it’s no surprise that Google felt justified hosting advertisements by pharmacies promoting the illegal importation of drugs. As the dominant provider of search and search advertising services, armed with its radical ideology, Google could cause far worse damage. It’s up to the rest of us to make Google obey the law, respect the rights of others and be more accountable.

A FORMER GOOGLE EMPLOYEE WHO WAS MAKING $250,000 ANNUALLY EXPOSES ALPHABET'S
"MACHINE LEARNING FAIRNESS"

HERE IS WHAT MIKE ADAMS OF NATURAL NEWS.COM HAS TO SAY:

The radical Left — which now controls tech giants like Google and Facebook — can’t win any debate (or elections) based on facts or logic, so they resort to brazen censorship to silence all opposing views in the hopes of dominating the culture by cheating. “These activists want the playing field to be tilted in favor of their "politically correct" worldview so that democratic outcomes like the 2016 presidential election can never happen again,” warns Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA), a member of Congress. “Censorship like this undermines public discourse and trust in our institutions — and it is likely to get worse before it gets better.

In fact, it’s now clear that Google, YouTube, Facebook and Twitter have all decided to ban all the speech they oppose in the hopes of achieving a kind of  “cultural coup” that silences any views they oppose, including biological science facts such as the fact that there are only two genders, not an infinite number of imaginary “gender fluid” delusions. This insidious censorship stunt is being pursued with the desire to banish all conservatives from the internet, but unless it is reversed, it may actually lead to kinetic warfare that’s likely to involve tech giants’ headquarters being necessarily targeted by pro-human rights forces attempting to halt tyranny and restore freedom of speech, a basic human right that’s now being systematically violated by Google.

Google, in other words, is driving America toward kinetic civil war, attempting to silence half the country by exploiting and abusing its position of near-monopoly power. As I write this, for example, YouTube continues to ban my entire video channel without any justification or logical reason. It’s now confirmed that Google actively censors natural health websites in order to protect the criminal interests of Big Pharma, and YouTube even shuts down entire channels for posting videos that tell the truth about CBD oil and the healing potential of cannabis medicine.

In fact, YouTube actually told Natural News that CBD videos are “dangerous to society” just like bomb-making videos. These censorship claims are not merely absurd, but dangerous to society. Online censorship, in effect, has become the single greatest threat to the future of our country. The free flow of speech is just as important to society as the free flow of commerce or electricity. For biased, dangerous corporations to selectively restrict the flow of speech only for those who hold conservative or libertarian views is wholly unacceptable and will not be tolerated by free people. Cutting off freedom of speech to certain targeted groups of people is essentially denying them the human right of expression, and that means Google has become a threat to human rights.

My belief on this is shared by millions of Americans: A “free society” cannot survive when the window of allowable speech is controlled by a malicious, radical, left-wing, anti-American corporate giant that colludes with Big Pharma and communist activists to silence free speech. Google has become, as we say, a “clear and present danger” to America.

Google must  be stopped to save America and Google must be completely neutralized and stripped of all influence over the world of online speech.

Google, in effect, has become the authoritarian tyrants our Founding Fathers warned us about. In the 1700s, the greatest threat to our liberties was a rogue government. That’s why we have the Second Amendment, which was written as a national immune system against government tyranny. The historical idea of the Second Amendment is that if the government tyrants get out of control, the citizens will take up arms against them and reestablish the proper level of humility in government, which only derives its power from We the People, after all. But today, the greatest threat to our liberty is a powerful, domineering corporation known as “Alphabet” (i.e. Google, YouTube, etc.). The First Amendment does not specifically restrict corporations from banning free speech, and the Second Amendment was not written for the people to take up arms against private corporations. Thus, we now face a new, grievous threat to our freedoms that our forefathers could not foresee, and for which no constitutional mechanism of defense exists.

It follows that the defeat of Google cannot be achieved through purely constitutional arguments. Google must be neutralized, defeated or disbanded through other means which are not specifically stated in the United States Constitution. The best option, as explained below, is regulatory control enforced by government to demand a level playing field when it comes to freedom of expression.

We must defeat Google or lose our country forever. In my analysis, if Google’s vindictive censorship is not halted, it will eventually escalate the divide in America to the point of actual civil war (i.e. kinetic warfare between political factions). I don’t condone this outcome and don’t wish to see it occur, but when the tech monopolists crush the freedom of speech of half the country, denying them the right to speak, debate or engage in public discourse, sooner or later that half of the country will tire of living under tyranny, and they will realize the only course of action remaining to them is to physically resist the “techno tyranny” through last-resort actions (see the quote from Milo, below, for more details on this growing realization). Google no doubt knows this and is deliberately attempting to drive America into a state of civil war so that globalist-leaning Leftists can call for UN intervention, of course.

The far more desirable alternative for resolving Google’s censorship plot is to force the tech giants to halt their censorship under the threat of fines or criminal arrests carried out by government. The government, in other words, needs to figuratively put a weapon to the head of Google (and Facebook, Twitter, etc.) and tell them if they don’t level the playing field, government coercion will be invoked to force content fairness upon them. If this sounds harsh, remember that all government regulatory enforcement is effectively carried out at the end of a gun. When the IRS says you have to pay up or lose your freedom, it is a threat that’s ultimately enforced by government men with guns who will take away your freedom and your property if you don’t comply.

This level of government coercion is routinely deployed against individual Americans but rarely aimed at powerful corporations. And that’s part of the problem: To level the playing field of public discourse, government must quite literally threaten Google and other tech giants with criminal indictments and huge fines if they refuse to change their ways and halt their censorship agendas. (One proper role of government is to enforce a level playing field in both economic markets and the market of ideas.)
Until government intervenes and forces Google to comply with basic rules of public fairness, the censorship will only accelerate, expanding the list of those who are censored in what can be called the “Silenced Majority.”

Will Republican lawmakers do anything useful, or does this end in “Facebook’s gonna get firebombed” ?“ This must end, for the sake of our country,” McCarthy writes. He goes on to explain, “In the coming weeks, I will join with my conservative colleagues in candid conversations with many of these companies to make it crystal clear this behavior is not only wrong but threatens the trust of institutions with so much potential for our country.”

I hope McCarthy understands the urgency of his mission, because I fear that if Congress fails to force Google and other tech giants to respect basic rules of fairness, sooner or later “Facebook’s gonna get firebombed,” as Milo Yiannopoulos recently warned. From NewsTarget.com:

“This is obviously going to end in civil war,” Yiannopoulos said in a recent interview with conservative radio host Alex Jones. “Facebook’s gonna get firebombed, CNN people are gonna be attacked, and we don’t say that with any pleasure….” Milo went on to say that “there is only one inevitable consequence when all of the architecture of civil society, everything is designed to attack decency and beauty and truth and goodness… and real news… and reality….”

None of us wish to see this break down into kinetic warfare, with squads of armed patriots occupying Google and Facebook offices across America to force an end to censorship and restore basic human rights to the internet. But in my analysis, that’s likely where this is headed if Congress doesn’t act to restore the First Amendment across the internet. What Americans are increasingly realizing is that Google is already waging a dangerous war on U.S. soil, and that we will all lose our freedoms and liberties forever if Google’s censorship is not halted. At some point, Mike Adams predicts, the backlash will escalate into realms we would all rather avoid.

To help create alternative platforms and possibly avoid a civil war, I’m busy launching www.brighteon.com which is a  a free speech alternative to YouTube, which openly allows videos on firearms, cannabis medicine, religion and other topics that are routinely banned by Google. No doubt, Google will try to censor brighteon.com which brings us back to the original problem. America either forces Google to halt its outrageous censorship, or this all ends badly, no doubt.

CONSUMER ADVOCATES FILE FTC COMPLAINT OVER GOOGLE PLAY STORE MARKETING TO CHILDREN
Picture
Apps available for download in Google’s Play Store marketplace frequently expose kids to content that’s inappropriate and even trick some youngsters into unwittingly making in-app purchases. That’s according to a complaint that a collection of consumer and privacy advocates has filed today with the FTC.

The complaint calls for the FTC to “investigate whether Google is misrepresenting to parents that the apps in the Family section of the Play Store are child-appropriate when they are not, in violation of Section 5 of the FTC Act.”
Groups behind the filing of the complaint include almost two dozen consumer and public health advocacy organizations. They’re led by the Campaign for a Commercial-Free Childhood and the Center for Digital Democracy. They note that apps presented within the kids and family section of the Play Store are supposed to follow stipulations spelled out in the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (also known as COPPA), but the problem as identified in the complaint is that Google doesn’t verify those apps’ compliance. Which is why the complaint asks the FTC to require that Google only include apps within that section — or to only say an app is kid-friendly — once the app has been subjected to testing and human review.

Again, from the complaint: “Many apps violate COPPA by collecting personal information from children without giving notice to parents and obtaining verifiable parental consent. Some apps that Google promotes as family-friendly also deploy unfair and deceptive advertising practices — such as manipulating kids to watch ads or make purchases in order to advance in a game.
Our research also revealed that many apps feature inappropriate content for children. Google has known about several of these problems for some time, yet has not taken adequate steps to enforce its own criteria for developers. Thus it is imperative that the FTC swiftly investigate Google’s Play Store Family operations and stop these deceptive practices so that children will be protected.”

The CCFC’s executive director told TechCrunch that the complaint doesn’t call out Apple’s iOS app store, because there hasn’t been a similar analysis done there. And speaking of TC, a Google spokesperson also told the outlet it’s taking the issues raised in this complaint seriously. For example, the company has already removed thousands of apps from the family section this year, and it also rejects a third of applications.

“Parents want their children to be safe online and we work hard to protect them,” Google told TC. “Apps in our Designed for Families program have to comply with strict policies on content, privacy and advertising, and we take action on any policy violations that we find. We take these issues very seriously and continue to work hard to remove any content that is inappropriately aimed at children from our platform.”

(Natural News) Google is not just a danger to human freedom in the online world; it’s a danger to all human freedom because the ability to control information is the ability to control minds and enslave humankind.
Through its actions to destroy human knowledge, blacklist natural health websites, alter the outcomes of elections, silence conservative speech, push toxic vaccines onto children, promote the prescription medications of Big Pharma, censor organics and push deadly chemotherapy, Google has proven it is a threat to humankind and must be dismantled.

Now more powerful than any government in the world, Google is a dangerous surveillance web that tracks your online searches, website visits, video views, online purchases, emails and physical locations. Beyond that, Google deliberately blocks independent media, conservative channels, vaccine safety videos and anyone who questions GMOs, Big Pharma, chemtrails or 5G networks.

Google has become pure evil, and it must be dismantled and permanently barred from all business operations. It’s time to rid the world of this evil, and President Trump can start by arresting Google’s top managers and CEO, all of whom have actively conspired to commit large-scale criminal election fraud against the United States of America (among other crimes).

HERE ARE THE SEARCH ENGINE ALTERNATIVES TO GOOGLE:

Duckduckgo.com
*Good Gopher.com
Yandex.com
Ecosia
Wiki.com
StarPage
CC Search.com
Gibiru.com
Internet Archive
Search Encrypt
SwissCows.com

*Good Gopher.com which is a search engine developed by Mike Adams, the Health Ranger and editor of NaturalNews.com is using his technical expertise to create GoodGopher.com which will benefit all "alternative" websites publishing truth rather than publishing propaganda and leftist ideologies.

Good Gopher is building the internet's largest search engine for those searching for information and news on liberty, natural healing, central banks, food freedom, advanced science and a multitude of other topics no longer allowed in NSA-controlled search engines.

Good Gopher's Pledge of Integrity is the world's first privacy-protected search engine that filters out corporate propaganda, government disinformation.

Good Gopher is the "Anti-Google" search engine and here's what we pledge to all our users:

  • NO SPYING ON YOU. We don't record your search history. We don't track your browsing habits. We don't build a psychological profile of you. When you search on GoodGopher.com, your search is private. Even if GoodGopher.com is hacked, it cannot reveal individual search histories because it does not record them!

  • NO CORPORATE PROPAGANDA OR GOVERNMENT DISINFO. GoodGopher actively seeks to filter out corporate propaganda and government disinfo. Because our filters aren't perfect, we also enable users to flag search results with a "Bad Gopher!" flag. When enough users flag a link as "Bad Gopher!" we review the URL and parent domain to determine whether it should be banned from our index. "Bad Gopher!" clicks do not affect rankings, so trolls have no reason to arbitrarily click links for sites they don't like.

  • HONEST RELEVANCY ALGORITHM. Our relevancy algorithm is equally applied across all sites, meaning that even small sites have the same shot as being #1 for any given search term as a large site. No site (not even NaturalNews.com) receives any special boost. All sites in the index are subject to the exact same ranking algorithms. Sites can, of course, be banned from the index for spamming or using black hat techniques to try to game the system.

  • NO PROMOTION OF PHARMACEUTICALS AND OTHER POISONS. GoodGopher is funded by advertising but we don't let just anybody advertise on the site. We specifically ban all corporate advertisers who sell pharmaceuticals, pesticides, GMOs, vaccines and other toxic products that destroy human life and contaminate the planet. This isn't even the full list.
  •  We also ban gambling and porn sites and we review each potential advertiser on a case by case basis. Our decision process is guided by principles of human decency, human rights, ecological sustainability and honest business practices. We reserve the right to ban any advertiser at any time.
  •
  • NO BACK DOORS TO THE NSA.
  • GoodGopher wasn't built by a bunch of NSA spooks. We don't have any back doors to spy agencies or federal agencies. It should be noted, however, that we are still subject to court orders from federal judges, but even if a court ordered us to turn over something, we can't turn over that which we don't possess!

WHISTLEBLOWERS SPEAK

Yet another Google insider has come forward with bombshell information regarding the tech giant’s plans to hijack the 2020 elections, but not simply with the intent of getting rid of President Trump, with the objective of getting rid of our form of government altogether.

As incredulous as that sounds, Zachary Vorhies says otherwise. He’s seen the evidence.

The Google insider has provided more than 950 documents to Project Veritas, one of the few true investigative journalism organizations left in America, noting that he came forward because he “saw something dark and nefarious going on with the company, and I realized that they were not only going to tamper with the elections, but use that tampering with the elections to essentially overthrow the United States.”

Wow.

As Breitbart News reported, Project Veritas’ latest report, citing Vorhies and the documents he has provided, details the tech giant’s plans, which include nothing less than a treasonous plan to replace our current government, and not by acceptable means.

“I had been collecting the documents for over a year,” Vorhies said.

His disturbing revelations come following a Project Veritas report in June citing another Google insider, Dr. Greg Coppola, a computer science Ph.D. who said that without a doubt, algorithms have been manipulated purposefully to ensure that people get mostly negative stuff about President Trump in the Google News feed.
(Related: Project Veritas bombshell: Google engaged in massive censorship effort to prevent “repeat” of 2016 when Trump won the presidency.)

Breitbart News reported further:
The documents provided by Vorhies contain a number of files of concern for conservatives, one of which is called “news black list site for Google Now” which Vorhies alleges is a “blacklist” that restricts certain websites from appearing on news feeds for some Android Google products.
The list includes a number of both conservative and leftist websites including newsbusters.org and mediamatters.org. The document states that some sites are added to the list because of a “high user block rate.”

This is a blatant act of treason

Vorhies said he hopes that more Google employees will quickly come forward to help expose the obvious bias and the treachery behind the company’s plans to steal the election and steal our democracy.

“My message to those that are on the fence is I released the documents. They can go in, they can see everything that Google is doing and then they can see the scale of it,” he told Project Veritas.

“Because I think that there’s a lot of engineers that have a hint that things are wrong, but they don’t understand the colossal scale that it’s at. And so for those people, I say, look at the documents, take the pulse of America, see what’s happening and come and tell the world you know what you already know to be true,” he added.

Coppola, meanwhile, told Project Veritas he’s very certain of what he says about Google’s manipulative tactics — in its search function and Google News feed — because he’s an expert.

“I’ve been coding since I was ten [years old.] I have a Ph.D., I have five years’ experience at Google and I just know how algorithms are,” Coppola noted. “They don’t write themselves. We write them to do what want them to do.”
And he also sounded the alarm that our democracy is in danger from a tech company that is partnering with a potential adversary, China, to develop artificial intelligence for military applications, because it has grown far too large and powerful.

“I think we’re just at a really important point in human history. I think for a while we had tech that was politically neutral. Now we have tech that really, first of all, is taking sides in a political contest, which I think, you know, anytime you have big corporate power merging with political parties can be dangerous,” he said. “And I think more generally we have to just decide now that we kind of are seeing tech use its power to manipulate people. It’s a time to decide, you know, do we run the technology, does the technology run us?”

DOWNLOAD BRAVE BROWSER AND HERE'S WHY.
BRAVE VS.CHROME WHY IS BRAVE BROWSER SPREADING LIKE A WILDFIRE?
Picture
Below is a comparison between Brave and Google Chrome in terms of speed, privacy, and security. Chrome allows advertising targeted to you based on websites you have visited in the past. Chrome tracks websites you visit and allows advertisers to gain access to your information. Brave blocks ads and trackers by default. This allows websites on Brave to load noticeably faster than Chrome. Below is a speed test between Brave, Chrome, and Firefox.
Picture
Brave blocks ads by default (unlike Chrome, which requires a 3rd-party extension such as AdBlock.
Brave blocks 3rd-party tracking by default. On Chrome, mega-advertisers like Google and Facebook use 3rd-party cookies to track your browsing on nearly every website. By blocking 3rd-party cookies, Brave limits the amount of data Facebook, Google, and other ad networks can collect about your browsing habits.
Brave stores all your browsing data locally on your computer, which means you can delete it at any time.
Brave supports Tor browsing, making it the first all-purpose browser to do so.
Picture
Brave automatically encrypts your website connection when possible (on Chrome, this only occurs with an extension like HTTPS Everywhere). Brave now supports all Chrome extensions, including popular password managers like LastPass and 1Password.

However, once in a while, Brave blocks part of a website that you wanted to load. When this happens, it's easiest to click the lion icon, and toggle the shield to down. Since the latest Brave update, this is rarely necessary (maybe once per week).

Brave's speed alone is enough to make the switch worthwhile, and the added privacy and security benefits are icing on the cake. Not surprisingly, Brave has skyrocketed to popularity, going from 1 million to 4.6 million users in 2018.

Brave is almost exactly like Chrome, but faster and less sleezy. Browse with confidence.
